Network and partners

We cooperate with residents, organisations, art institutions, researchers, departments of the City of Helsinki, and national operators in the field of multiculturalism. A networked operating model promotes the interaction of residents and organisations with various backgrounds, develops the working conditions of foreign professional artists and supports the distinct culture of ethnic minorities.

Associations

Associations that promote multiculturalism and communities of immigrants can meet regularly at Caisa and organise their own events in the facilities. Meetings, seminars, courses, parties and open culture events can be held in our facilities. The hall must be reserved at least 42 days before an event and other facilities at least three weeks in advance.

Your community can use Caisa’s meeting facilities on weekdays and Saturdays for two hours free of charge, after which we will charge a fee for using the facilities. If needed, associations and organisations with modest resources can reciprocally produce programmes for and participate in organising Caisa events.

Suomen monikulttuuriverkostot ry

Caisa is also an active operator in the Suomen monikulttuuriverkostot ry (Association for Multicultural Centres in Finland) that was established in 2015. The association organises meetings and training, gathers good field-specific practices and functions as a discussion forum and a party of influence.
